Meeting Valéry, mother from Amstelveen Netherlands
Living in Amstelveen, city of North Holland, Valéry is mother to two angels, Elle aged one and Yves aged three. If she works for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, her greatest source of delight comes from spending time with her beloved family!
Just as pretty from the outside as from the inside, Valéry has the kindest and most caring heart, sprinkling joy and beauty all around her! We had a lovely time discussing and sharing thoughts with her!
WHAT HAS THE LOCKDOWN TAUGHT YOU?
I have learnt or shall I say come to realize, that you need very little to make your children happy.
There is so much to do within the house and no need for big or fancy toys and tools. The quote "There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." is ever so true!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST GRATEFUL FOR?
My family! This is not new but in these strange times, being all together and sharing our love is was matters the most. May we cherish the moments spent with our loved ones.
WHAT IS THE FAVORITE ACTIVITY/CRAFT YOU HAVE SHARED SO FAR WITH YOUR CHILDREN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE LOCKDOWN?
Each and every day since the Corona, we go for walks, cook, dance and make music! Elle and Yves have several instruments but what they love the most is playing drums on a saucepan! Nothing makes them happier!
